The One Habit to Quit for Creators (Hint: It’s Not Procrastination)

Show notes

What’s the difference between a course that sells to 100 people, and one that sells to 1000? Or 10,000? If you take the same course and run it two times, you might get 10 students, and then 100 the second time around.

But the content hasn’t changed. Or the quality. Or the pricing. So you cannot link the course quality to the number of signups.

Many amazing creators don’t have a lot of views of their videos. Or listen to their podcast.

And that might be the case for you, whether you’re just getting started as a creator or if you’ve been at it for months.

Today’s episode will help you detach yourself from results and outcomes, so you can focus on your work.

Book mentioned in this episode: The Practice by Seth Godin.

Hey there!🤓 Welcome to Execution Made Simple where you and I have conversations on healthy productivity for creators. I’m Aurelie Ho, I’m a mum of 2 young creative minds and also a writer & creator at Gritly an education company dedicated to helping creators consistently create content & products they love, without burning out.

I used to be obsessed with results, goals, and productivity hacks and I’ve seen firsthand the damages of hustle culture and toxic productivity. I know what it means to be a small creator and struggle with consistency and overwhelm.

I truly hope this podcast will positively impact your creative workflow and that you’ll stick around💛✨✨✨
